Privacy Policy for Hopscape

Last updated: 16 September 2026 • Effective: 16 September 2026

Hopscape ("the Game") is developed and published by Çağatay Onur Şengör, a sole proprietor (şahıs şirketi) based in Türkiye, operating under codebolt.dev ("we", "us", "our").

This policy explains what happens to your information when you play Hopscape on Android or iOS. It applies to the Game only — not to the app stores, operating systems, or any other service you use alongside it.

Short Version

  • We do not run any servers, accounts, or databases of our own.
  • Hopscape contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no in-app purchases.
  • We do not collect, store, sell, share, or transfer your personal data to anyone.
  • Your game progress is stored on your device — there is no cloud save.
  • If you sign in, Hopscape uses Google Play Games Services (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS) so that leaderboards and achievements work. Google and Apple handle that data under their own privacy policies.
  • Hopscape does not access your friends list on either platform.

1. Information stored on your device

Hopscape saves your progress and settings locally on your device — for example your level progress, unlocked content, sound and vibration preferences, and similar gameplay state. This is the only copy of your progress; the Game does not sync saves to any server.

This data stays on your device. We cannot read it, and it is not transmitted to us. It is removed when you uninstall the Game, subject to any backup your device or operating system makes on your behalf (for example Android Auto Backup or iCloud device backup), which is governed by Google's and Apple's policies rather than ours.

2. Google Play Games Services (Android)

On Android, Hopscape integrates Google Play Games Services to provide leaderboards and achievements. Android presents the Play Games sign-in prompt when you first launch the Game; signing in is optional, and you can dismiss the prompt and play the Game without it.

If you sign in, Google processes and makes available to the Game:

  • Your Play Games gamer identity — your gamer tag (display name), avatar, and a player ID that is unique to Hopscape. This ID does not identify you across other apps and cannot be linked back to your Google Account by us.
  • Gameplay data associated with Hopscape — achievements you unlock and scores you submit to leaderboards, which Google stores on its servers on your behalf.

Hopscape does not request access to your Play Games friends list. We do not receive your Google Account email address, your real name, or your password. We do not copy any of this information to a system of our own; it lives on Google's infrastructure and we access it only through the Play Games Services interface while you are playing.

Google acts as an independent data controller for this information. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Play Games data disclosure documentation.

Your controls: Your Play Games profile settings let you choose who can see your gaming activity ("Only you", "Friends only", or "Everyone"). You can review, hide, or delete your Play Games data — including data tied to individual games — from your Play Games profile settings or from Google My Account.

3. Apple Game Center (iOS)

On iOS, Hopscape integrates Game Center to provide leaderboards and achievements. iOS presents the Game Center sign-in when you first launch the Game; signing in is optional, and you can dismiss it and play the Game without it.

If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple makes available to the Game:

  • Your Game Center player identity — your nickname, avatar, and unique Game Center identifiers scoped to the Game.
  • Gameplay data associated with Hopscape — scores submitted to leaderboards and achievement progress, which Apple stores and displays.

Hopscape does not request access to your Game Center friends or related players. We do not receive your Apple Account email address, your real name, or your password, and we do not retain any of this information outside Game Center.

Apple acts as an independent data controller for this information. See Game Center & Privacy and the Apple Privacy Policy.

Your controls: In Settings → Game Center you can change your nickname, control your profile's visibility, or sign out of Game Center entirely.

4. App store and platform data

Google Play and the App Store handle app distribution, installation, and any device-level diagnostics. Through the Play Console and App Store Connect we may see aggregated, anonymized statistics that the platforms generate — such as install counts, country-level breakdowns, crash and performance summaries, and star ratings. This information is produced by Google and Apple, is not linked to individual players by us, and does not let us identify you.

If you contact the stores, leave a public review, or make a support request through them, that interaction is governed by the relevant store's privacy policy.

5. What we do not do

Hopscape does not:

  • display advertising or contain any advertising SDK;
  • use advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID, Apple IDFA) or run any form of tracking across apps or websites;
  • contain third-party analytics or attribution SDKs;
  • contain third-party crash-reporting SDKs;
  • offer in-app purchases or process payments;
  • access your friends lists or social connections on any platform;
  • request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, precise or approximate location, or call and message logs;
  • sell or share personal information, and it has never done so.

6. Contacting us

If you email us, we will have your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you, and we delete the correspondence once the matter is resolved and no longer needed for our records.

7. Children

Hopscape is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age).

Google Play Games Services and Game Center accounts are managed by Google and Apple, including any parental controls applied through Google Family Link or Apple's Family Sharing and Screen Time settings. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data through the Game, contact us at the address below and we will assist; data held by Google or Apple can be removed through the account controls described in sections 2 and 3.

8. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, and Türkiye)

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Türkiye's KVKK (Law No. 6698) applies:

  • Storing game data locally on your device and providing the Game's core functionality rests on the performance of a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
  • Signing in to Play Games Services or Game Center rests on your consent, given through the platform prompt (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)). You can withdraw it at any time by signing out or changing the platform settings described above; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Responding to your email rests on our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).

Because we operate from Türkiye, any correspondence you send us is processed there. Google and Apple operate globally and describe their own international transfer safeguards in their privacy policies.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data; to data portability; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Under the KVKK (Art. 11) you may additionally learn whether your data is processed, request notification of third parties to whom it was disclosed, and seek compensation for damages. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

Since we hold no personal data about you beyond any email you send us, most requests are best directed at the party that actually holds the data:

  • Data in Play Games Services: use your Play Games profile settings or Google My Account.
  • Data in Game Center: use Settings → Game Center and Apple's Data and Privacy portal.
  • Data on your device: uninstall the Game, or clear its data from your device settings.
  • Anything else, including email correspondence: write to us; we respond within 30 days.

10. Data retention and security

We keep no player records, so there is nothing for us to retain or to breach. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Data held by Google and Apple is retained under their policies and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) by their SDKs.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data handled by third-party platforms.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy — for example because the Game gains a new feature — we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version at https://codebolt.dev/hopscape/privacy. Material changes will also be noted in the Game's store listing release notes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
